Is the $500 session refundable?
It’s a credit applied on the day toward your purchase. If you choose not to purchase, the session fee covers the hosted tasting experience. No refunds.
Who can attend the session?
Your Barrelhouse Selection Session is for two adults (18+). Bring a designated driver if needed. We keep pours small (10–15 ml)—this is a selection, not a round at the pub.
Where are the sessions held?
At one of our four NSW Barrelhouses: Sydney, South Coast, Hunter Valley, Central Tablelands. We’ll confirm the site after your Flavour Finder.
Can we do this off-site?
Yes—choose a couriered tasting kit + live video (AUS only; 18+ ID on delivery). Same Top-Two Face-Off method, same decision.
How many samples do we taste?

Often yes. A few drops can unlock fruit, oak or spice. We taste both ways and choose the version you’d actually serve.

How many bottles can we do?

Can we photograph/film the session?

Are minors or pets allowed?
No. 18+ only inside working barrelhouses. Pets aren’t permitted onsite.
What if we arrive intoxicated?
We operate under responsible service. If you’re intoxicated, we’ll reschedule at our discretion and the session fee may be forfeited.
Is everything legal/compliant?
Yes. Bottling is completed at licensed partner warehouses under their licences and applicable regulations. Please enjoy responsibly.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at this time. Australia-wide shipping is available (add-on, $25 per unit for individual addresses).
What happens if something breaks in transit?
Bottles are insured. Photograph the damage within 48 hours and contact us; we’ll arrange a replacement or remedy.
Can we reschedule the session?
Yes—please give 48 hours’ notice. Peak periods fill quickly; we’ll offer the nearest available slot.
